Restaurant “Wasserpavillon”

Our restaurant “Wasserpavillon” is surrounded by the castle pond and attached to the “Vorburg” of the Wasserburg Anholt. As guests admire the 34-hectare castle park, we serve fine regional cuisine with a Mediterranean influence along exquisite wines to pair with the meal. The view of flora and fauna compliment the special architecture and design of the room for one to relax and enjoy the scenery. From the “Wasserpavillon” restaurant you can go directly to our spacious castle terrace, as well as, the rustic castle cellar.

Castle Terrace

Overlooking the water with a beautiful view of the castle park – you must start the day with breakfast on our terrace. Here, at the foot of the castle walls directly above the moat, we serve delightful dishes from the “Wasserpavillon” restaurant as well as a wide variety of coffee specialties. Additional options for guests include homemade cakes and tarts from our castle patisserie.

Castle Cellar

Whether to enjoy an aperitif or digestif, the castle cellar “Burgkeller” is the first choice for those who wish to drink in the memorable and rustic ambience of Wasserburg Anholt. A large wooden bar counter and walk-in wine cabinet offer the many varieties of alcoholic beverages one may appreciate in the cozy wicker armchairs. With direct access to the castle terrace, each guest feels comfortable and free to immerse oneself into the rich history of the castle grounds.
